Our Story
Our story began with co-founder Asaf Peled, who started his career in 2012 as a professional guide in Israel. He loved guiding – but he became frustrated by how often tours relied on recycled itineraries that looked good on paper, yet didn’t leave guests feeling changed.
He believed travel should be more than “seeing the sights.” It should create vivid moments. Moments that move you, bring you closer, and stay with you long after you return home.
That belief shaped Asaf’s interview-first, client-focused approach to private touring—first through heritage travel, and later through high-end luxury travel across Israel via Shin Luxury Tours (founded in 2020).
Creating The Morocco Luxury Tours by Shin Tours™
Then something shifted: clients began asking him to create the same level of bespoke luxury experience in Morocco.
Asaf didn’t want to approach Morocco the way many operators do – planning from afar and outsourcing the experience to whoever is available on the ground. Instead, he wanted a true Morocco-based operation built on local knowledge, relationships, and quality control.
That’s where Dov Kagan comes in.
Dov had built extensive tour expertise through running his own private tour business in Morocco, with deep cultural understanding and trusted local networks. Together, Asaf and Dov joined forces: Shin Luxury Tours provides the bespoke trip design philosophy and consultation process, while Karem leads the Morocco-based operations with local guides, logistics, real-time support, and cultural depth.
